Absolutely killer vintage Chelsea boots. Size 9D, which is standard width. Florsheim factory date codes indicate that these babies are no less than 30 years old, but to be honest, they're probably closer to 50. I rescued these from a thrift store when they were in bad shape, then spent $120 at my local cobbler having them restored. They were stripped, cleaned, reconditioned and shined, and the leather outsoles were replaced. To make keep the new leather soles fresh for longer, my shoemaker then added rubber sole protectors, giving these a little bit more bounce, traction and durability than they would have if they only had the leather soles. And after all that, they just didn't fit me quite right (wide feet). Being several decades old, these boots do have some flaws: there is creasing and discoloration from 30-50 years of sheer style. I personally think they look amazing, but you can check the photos and see for yourself. These boots fit true to size, unlike work boots like Red Wing. These would be best worn by someone who's a true men's 9 in sneakers and/or dress shoes. Because of what I paid to have these fixed up I'd really prefer reasonable offers. I don't need to make a huge profit but please don't low ball me.
