Floral Checkered Cake Stand

Offering a gorgeous Fluted Pedestal Cake Stand by MacKenzie-Childs in the Honeymoon Lemon Curd Yellow pattern. This lovely hand-painted pattern has yellow and white checks with scattered floral sprays finished on a fluted rim with gold trim. Flower sprays and stripes continue on the underside and base with gold bands. With their signature red clay, each piece is molded by hand, machine-pressed, or slip cast, and fired up to three times, hand-glazed, and hand-decorated. Because of this, no two items are exactly alike! Bottom is stamped with the studio mark as well as the artisan's stamp as shown. Measures 6 ½” high x 12” in diameter (6 ⅞” in diameter at the base) In very good vintage condition free of chips, cracks, repairs or scratching: gold shows minor wear or scratching and appears to be displayed only. Any imperfections in the piece are characteristics of majolica pottery and come from the firing process which gives them all a personality unique to MacKenzie-Childs
