Five Vintage Slate Animal Coasters - Welsh Slate Coasters with British Wildlife - Decorative Welsh Slate Coasters with Badger, Owl, Rabbit, Fox, Hedgehog Vintage from the 1970s Materials: Slate Stone Slate color is a dark chocolate brown The coasters have a red felt disc on the underside. 3.25" in diameter According to the attached labels, the coasters were handmade and printed by Bacchante Crafts of Newtown, Powys, South Wales. The company is still in existence today, although in a different part of Powys and they no longer make these coasters. The coasters are in very good vintage condition, with minor wear/markings/surface scratches due to age. Wear to underneath red felt.(Please see pics) (Slate is a natural product, so each coaster will have its own variations of color and texture and natural marks in places)
