Ample stretch throughout. Length was measured from the second set of straps that are not adjustable. EUC, no visible flaws, although I think the previous owner added an inch or two of extra length to the slit. I only noticed a difference in the seaming there because I was right near the hip to measure it. It's very easy to close up the slit again if you would like it to start lower.
