hi. I'm just wondering why these are called over pants. are they meant to be worn over top of other pants or can they be worn by themselves and are they meant to be worn in cold weather? thanks so much!

@tommyta3 Hi! Thanks for reaching out. These have full side zippers which allow for more room to go over boots or other pants, so they are generally used as an overpant. You probably could wear them alone, but we're not sure how warm they would be just that way. The Hypertex Thinsulate is designed to help keep warmth in and be weaterproof on the outside.
