This 1880 first edition copy of "Museum of Antiquity: A Description of Ancient Life" is a very rare find! This gorgeous hardback copy was published in 1880 by Western Publishing House in Chicago, Illinois. It features a golden yellow fabric binding with gold-leaf accents in a lovely Art Nouveau font. The top pages of the book have gold gilt edges and the sides and bottom have a faint printed floral pattern. Written by L. W. Yaggy, M. S. & T. L. Haines, A. M., this collector's edition delves into ancient civilizations with a focus on "the employments, amusements, customs and habits, the cities, palaces, monuments, and tombs, the literature and fine arts of 3,000 years ago."
