As with any pottery items, especially vintage items, there are differences in the color, glaze and even at times the size of item. These factory imperfections, if any have been identified, have been described in post. When speaking about Fiestaware: Vintage refers to any item that was made from 1936-1972. Post-86 refers to “contemporary” or any items released after Fiestaware was reintroduced in 1986. Retired is any post-86 item or color that is not longer available to purchase from Fiestaware, and is available only through other sellers.
