Striking unusual color combination by Fenton Art Glass known as "mulberry" this has what I call peacock colors; purple - pink on the top fading into light blue to darker blue on the base. Attractive crimped ruffle rim and a clear swirl handle set off the colors. This is known as a melon pitcher because of its shape and features beading down each panel on the base. This color combination is rare and harder to find, I believe it was only produced in 1988. This is marked with the Fenton 8 logo, meaning it was made in the 1980s. Fenton began marking their pieces in 1970 and is no longer in business today. Use as a pitcher, vase or display piece.
Condition*: Mint, I see no defects. I think this was a display piece, there is no wear and the colors are brilliant.
Size: approx. 6" h x 4" w, not including the handle.
