Featured is a wonderful Antique Fenton Carnival Glass EAPG Compote in the Scotch Thistle pattern. EAPG stands for Early American Pattern Glass which dates from 1850 until 1914. EAPG is clear or colored pressed glass, early carnival glass is pressed glass that has a sprayed on iridescent coating. * This pattern is rarely seen, and it is a strikingly beautiful piece of glass with its crimped ruffled edge. This is a Fenton Carnival Glass Compote in the Scotch Thistle pattern in blue glass with heavy even rainbow metallic spray inside and out. Thistles and foliage on the inside of the compote and iridescent blue, purple, gold on the outside. Measures 5.5” tall x 6” wide. Gorgeous Collector Carnival Glass Iridescent Glass No chips or cracks.
