Fendi Clutch Textured Porthole Runway Trim Tomato Red Leather Ivory Woven Fabric

ONE OF A KIND VINTAGE FENDI! For sale is an early Fendi S.A.S., tomato red saffiano leather runway or porthole tote or shopper that can be folded to be used as a clutch with woven red and ivory jute trim on top, an open top without a clasp, and unique, high end bohemian style! This is a gorgeous vintage bag in amazing condition that was created by the Italian design house during the time when Karl Lagerfield made Fendi his home! The rectangular tote or clutch is very similar to the pieces Fendi recently released for 2021-22 with its use of multiple materials and simplicity of design! It is made from red saffiano leather (or maybe? faux leather with a saffiano texture). It has an open top that has two, smooth red leather rectangle cutouts as the handles with a 3" strip of ivory and red fabric or jute woven or braided along the top edge. It does not have any metal hardware, but there is a round leather patch on the front embossed with 'FF, Fendi, Roma, Italy, 1925' on the front! 15"L x 3"W x 16"H, Handle drop: 4.5". Item #: 29543172 Inside, the layout is very basic. There is one, large compartment without any pockets. The inside is very clean tan leather. It has an early, red leather tag embossed in gold with 'Fendi SAS, Roma, Made in Italy' on the front and the serial #164 80144 stamped in gold on the back. It has been authenticated by a third party expert, so buy with confidence! This bag is so cool and screams late 60's boho chic, but is still modern and edgy!
