Faviana Blue Backless Slit Gown

This stunning periwinkle gown by Faviana showcases a sophisticated cowl neckline and elegant spaghetti straps, ideal for prom or cocktail occasions. The backless design and side slit enhance its allure, while the silky chiffon fabric has a slight irridescence adding graceful glamour. I thrifted this dress still with tags on it. When I got home I realized why the original owner had never worn it. There was a damage from an iron in the middle of skirt. My heart broke for a moment, thinking of the original owner and the sadness they must have felt as their dress was ruined. As I considered the damage, I realized to was in a good location to put a slit and just maybe the dress could be saved. The last image shows the damage and where I cut to make the slit. I included a picture with it being worn (ignore the sports bra), so you can see the height and how the slit falls. Now maybe, just maybe, this dress can once again be someone's dream dress because it really is so beautiful.
