Wonderfully unique faux fur wrap perfect for any special outing in like new condition. Size Medium Gently Used. Black. Fitted at the shoulders. Has collar & open front. Love the design on the backside and the fit over the arms. Picture do not do this item justice. A perfect size medium. Faux fur first appeared in the 1960s as an alternative to the more expensive real thing. Among the innovators in the field was Malden Mills, a Massachusetts firm founded in 1906. Although for years a conventional textile mill, it made a name for itself by developing synthetic fabrics made from polyester, beginning with fake fur. What inspired the company to name the line after Tudor City is lost to history. Arcadia Publishing, 2019 In Tudor City: Manhattan’s Historic Residential Enclave, Lawrence R. Samuel recounts the history of Midtown Manhattan’s “urban Eden.” Created by the innovative developer Fred F. French from 1925 to 1929, Tudor City is arguably the world's first skyscraper apartment complex and remains an idyllic enclave of neo-Tudor towers, parks, & quiet.
