Fantastic Vintage 1970s Tuxedo Dress with Satin Collar and Big Bow

*Dress is a little bit big for my mannequin, so it appears a little baggy. Dress features: No lining Fitted “wiggle” style skirt Sating collar and bow Fabric has a stripe throughout Pull-on style over the head-no buttons or zippers Fake left breast pocket Long sleeves Center seam in front and back Tiny shoulder pads just to give it a bit of structure, they’re not like the big 80s pads There aren’t any labels and I believe this dress was custom made for the original owner, many of her clothes were custom. The fabric feels very nice, and it may be a wool blend. It’s not scratchy. Dress is in very good vintage condition. There are a few missing stitches down by the hem (because it’s a wiggle dress and there isn’t a slit). There is a slight bump/pull on the satin up by the collar, possibly from a brooch. It smells a bit musty. I am airing it out, but it will probably still smell musty upon arrival after being boxed up for a few days in transit. Measurements are taken with the garment laying flat and doubled as appropriate. Measurements are of the garment itself, so please be sure to leave room for your body and movement as fabric is NOT stretchy! You will also need some extra room to pull it on over your head and get in/out of it! Bust measured just below the armholes: 38” Waist: 32” Hips: 37” Overall length from center top of shoulder to hem: 43” Sleeve length from shoulder seam to cuff: 23 3/8”
