What are the measurements for the large and the medium??
Jul 07Reply

catlovernj
@lisav70 Thank you for your question. I’m just going to bed....I will have it for you later today. 😊

catlovernj
@lisav70 I assume you want waist and length measurements?
Jul 07Reply

catlovernj
@lisav70 I have pictures of each size measured at the waist and length. Medium waist, laid flat, 16 inches. Large waist, laid flat, 17 inches. To me, that would sound like generous measurements, but consider that it does not hit the narrowest part of the waist, as I learned when I tried it on. It is cotton/polyester (no spandex for a bit of extra stretch). Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope this helps!

Hi it’s so cute can I ask you if size medium is it 6 us I try to measure with ruler 😄thank you
Jun 28Reply

catlovernj
@sababasha I would say so...you can see measurements. This skirt sits a bit below the natural waist. It’s a little hard to say if it’s a six because sizes are not consistent. I think of myself as a size 6, and medium would be correct for me....

catlovernj
@sababasha I accepted your offer...feel free to ask questions to help you determine size. IMO this runs a bit small.

sababasha
My size in the jeans is 29 do you think size medium waist is 29
Jun 28Reply

sababasha
So i see on size medium it’s 16 “ after x2 it will be 32 I’m I correct
Jun 28Reply

catlovernj
@sababasha Yes, but this sits lower on the waist. For example, my waist is 28 at narrowest point, but I would wear the medium for sure. If you look at the pics where one looks like a selfie, that’s me in size medium...

sababasha
So you mean that your size is 28 and medium Is just right for you I mean not big
Jun 28Reply

sababasha
So I will go with medium thank you so Much for your help

sababasha
I really appreciate it

@sababasha It’s right for me...to give you an idea...when I tried it on...waist, 28, hips, 37 1/2, and I’m cursed with bloating, as many of us are...5’6, 124 lbs... Most clothing sold has spandex, I notice this skirt is polyester/cotton, so it will only likely stretch as a pair of jeans might. I often fit small...but the medium was right. When I list items and notice the sizing is smaller or different, I’ll make of note of it.

@catlovernj hello! I did read all the comments to get an idea for sizing— I’m actually just about your size, approx 26 waist, 37 hips (when un-bloated lol 😅), do you think you would be able to fit a small if possible, even if very tight (as medium is no longer available!)? I love this and really want to make it work haha

sorry, I know you’re probably sick of all the guessing for sizing! I also wouldn’t mind wearing it higher up to sit at the narrowest part of my waist, with a belt, but (as you likely know lol) the hips are usually the problem for making things fit right.

catlovernj
@cassh0le69 I will try on the small and report back 😊
Sep 01Reply

catlovernj
@cassh0le69 Yes, definitely possible. Your smaller waist will help. This skirt is actually tightest in the hips (I’m 36 in the hips at narrowest point there). The fabric is all cotton; most of us are used to a a bit of spandex for ease. Wearing this skirt in a fitted size is like wearing high heels to make the outfit: Not easy, but pretty. Going down a size makes the mesh & ruffle flare outward more.

@cassh0le69 I’ve included a photo of me in a small + I included more photos showing measurements for skirt in various places. This is a great skirt for a night out; it’s very fitted in the hips (the waist not so much, actually). On a day of bloating, you might avoid it. My aunt says what she wears depends on what size she is that day…very true.
