Famous David Hochstein Furrier Fox and Leather dress coat - Vintage

Vintage Fox fur and leather dress coat by famous furrier David Hochstein from Dayton Ohio. This coat is in excellent condition, with no wear on any of the fur, featuring beautiful creme fox with sable color tips, entertwined with light milk chocolate colored leather inserts and a matching leather belt tie. Mr. Hochstein is known for his combinations of exotic furs and leathers, lining each piece with a colorful silk contrasting fabric, then completed with his handstitched label attached to the inside of the silk lining. Jacket size approximately Small/Medium. This coat also has the initials "JKP" hand stitched inside, which was a tradition by David for each garment to have the wearer's initials, making it unique and one of a kind. Current articles can still be found pertaining to Mr. Hochstein who recently passed in 2018, holding a 50 year legacy of exquisite custom furrier apparel. David's Tallit Katan (Jewish undergarment prayer shawl) is on display in the National Holocost and Humanity Center Museum, Cinncinati, Ohio as well as his letter of referral from the London Furrier. This is a one of a kind piece, with only 1 spot on the end of the belt showing wear, perhaps just leather dryness. It may be simply remedied with a little leather conditioner.
