Fairy Wings, Real Butterfly Wing Pendant Sterling Chain

When our above ground pool blew down in a storm, we turned the large circle on the ground into a butterfly garden. We purchase caterpillars and free butterflies each spring. They feast in our wonderful butterfly garden. You can see some of our butterflies above. I would never harm a butterfly. All of my beautiful butterfly jewelry is from found deceased butterflies, or sourced from reputable dealers who have no kill butterfly farms and ethically source their butterflies. I have never harmed and would never hurt a butterfly. I like to think I am even immortalizing their beauty in my jewelry. This piece was made by me with the wing of a Madagascar moth. It is highlighted with a small piece of artisan made glass to match the color of the wing. It is inspired by nature and my love of finding tiny bits of treasure on my walks on the beach or in the forest and turning them into jewelry. I hope you enjoy this one of a kind piece. Please be careful not to immerse this piece in water as that can damage the wing even if it is encased in glass or resin. It comes beautifully packaged with the artists card.
