sadie1lady Hi, I'm hoping this helps you. The fact that that Ruby is faceted and polished means it's not raw. A raw Ruby is what you find at a mine. It is no longer raw once it has been worked in any way, shape or form. This has been shaped, faceted and polished, therefore it is not raw anymore. Natural ruby, yes, but not raw. I work with stones all the time in my jewelry and I run a rock and artifact group on eff bee. Please take this in the spirit that it is meant. Thank you.
