So anyone that is close to me or was in my last live..I told you guys about Tillie being diagnosed with scoliosis. We had her appt in St. Louis yesterday and we didn’t get the news we wanted 🥺 her curvature is at 68% at the top and the bottom is at 52%. We were praying that a brace would fix the problem…but it’s progressed to far for a brace to help. So immediately after the doctor said that, Til already knew what that meant…that they were going to suggest surgery. She is TERRIFIED of this and so are me and Eric and the rest of the family. So we asked if we could just give the brace a try and hopefully through that and prayer, maybe God will grant us a miracle and fix it for her. I have seen miracles happen right before my eyes and I’ve seen doctors also be wrong. So we are going to give this a try for a bit and see how it goes. If by time she’s 12 and there’s no progress then we will move forward with surgery. I just ask that you guys send prayers or if you don’t pray then send allll the positive vibes our way pleassse! This is a pretty shocking thing that Til has to deal with so she needs all the prayers/good vibes she can get. Thank you all for being there for her and also giving me words of encouragement and helpful tips. You guys mean so much to me, I hope you all know that 🥹 going to post the video of her x-ray on here as well so you all can see. Love you guys 🥹♥️♥️ -Sarah

UPDATE 10-25-23 We finally have Til’s back brace!! To say she hates and despises it is an understatement though 🫠 it’ll take some serious adjusting to and lots more appointments, but hopefully it gets easier 🙏🏻 sorry I’m not as active on here as I was. Please keep the prayers and good vibes coming though! We go back in a month to see how the brace is working and I will give another update then! But as of right now, she will be in the brace until she’s 16 years old.

11-30-23..unfortunately not the update we wanted..brace has not been working to hold off on the curve getting bigger and that means it didn’t help push it back either.We go back the 19th for an MRI then after that we will probably make a date for surgery..I don’t want my 11 year old having such a serious surgery at such a young age..it scares me beyond belief. So now we are just praying for God to let things go the way they intend and keep her safe. Just keep praying please 🙏🏻♥️

I am 30 years old with 90 degree scoliosis. I have never had surgery. I workout every day, and live life like everyone else. Try to find someone who can do the Schroth method with her. You always have options besides surgery 💖

So I looked this method up, this is actually something her doctor talked to me about, but he acted as if it wouldn’t be much help for her. I will def be getting a second opinion on this since I looked a little deeper into it just now so thank you! I’m also curious, how long have you had this 90 degree curvature and with you working out daily is it not helping to decrease the curvature? From what I read it is supposed to elongate and make the spine straight again (as much as possible of course)

So just curious how long you have swap ally been doing it for 🙂 my daughter has yet to go through puberty and the doctor said she would definitely be at a 90 degree curvature if she hits her growth spurt and doesn’t get this surgery because of how bad it’s curved right now. But I’ll definitely look more into this and ask a second opinion doctor on this too! Thank you again! 😄🩷

TILLIE UPDATE AS OF TODAY 2-8-24
Tillie’s surgery date is set..it’s on the 28th this month. Next week on Thursday we go for pre-op blood work. So I will probably set my closet to “away” for a little bit while we are in another state. Please please PLEASE keep your the prayers for her guys. This is the scariest thing we’ve had to ever deal with and just want everything to go smoothly so all the prayers are so appreciated! We love you all! Thank you for everything guys! 🥹🥹♥️♥️♥️

We are leaving here soon to go to an aquarium and have some fun before Til’s surgery tomorrow morning. I’ll probably put my closet as away for a couple days while we are gone. Please keep Til in your prayers if you pray and if you don’t then just send her all the good vibes please! 💖 thank you to you all that have kept up with our journey and have helped in any way you can whether it be from buying from my closet or just sharing my listings! UPDATE!! 03-16-24
It’s been 2 and a half weeks since Til had surgery guys! She’s healing SO DANG GOOD!! Like..we are just in shock at how amazing she has been doing! Of course it was hard at first, but she hasn’t even been in pain (aside from some muscle spasms here and there) she’s such a tough girl! 🥹 continued prayers for a fast recovery would be great! Or even positive vibes too of course! Thank you everyone for all the love always! 🥹♥️

And she’s doing so good and healing great!! 🥹🥹🙏🏻🙏🏻 I am so happy how many friends have prayed and sent us good vibes, without them I would had been even more of a wreck lol! Me and Eric both got SO sick after we alll got home (I’m assuming bc we were so damn stressed) but we are all good and Tillie is healing so good! 🥹🥹♥️♥️
