nouveaugypsy Hi -- these look great but 39 is usually an 8.5 not a 9 (9 is 40.) Do these run roomy, so, more like a 9 or are they true? (If they're true 39s they'e a little small for a 9 because they're actually an 8.5.) Thanks for any info! :)

lm_lux_clothing @nouveaugypsy I wear a size 9 and they fit me. More importantly the listing shows the measurement of the sole so you might want to go by that to determine the fit for you

nouveaugypsy It's always harder to calculate the actual fit from a measurement when you have a heel or lift iinvolved (obviously a flat shoe is easy, it's not as clear cut otherwise. It helps to go along the entire length of the side of the footbed to get that info but it is still tricky.) But yes, it does help to know these fit you! (I actually range between an 8.5 and 9... depends on style and footbed. (But just enough times a 39 did not quite work --almost as many as a 40 was too big!-- so I always ask!)
