freepeople @amber7305 hi! there seems to be minimal padding on the footbed of the item. I haven't seen it in person so I can't speak true to it! All of our items ship directly from our warehouse so unfortunately we do not have physical access to see some of the items. Sorry about that!

freepeople @awolfsam hi! they should be true to size and I think even with a sock you could go with your normal size. if you plan on only wearing them with thick socks, a half size up could be ok. love that look!!
