The framed print is a reproduction of the famous "Parapluie-Revel" advertising poster created by the Italian artist
Leonetto Cappiello in 1922. Cappiello is often called "the father of modern advertising" due to his innovative, bold designs that featured striking figures against simple, dark backgrounds. Created for
Parapluie-Revel (Revel Umbrella Company) of Lyon, France, an umbrella manufacturer established in 1851.
The image features three figures with black umbrellas and flowing garments against a vivid golden-yellow background, illustrating that the umbrellas protect the users even in the worst downpours.
The print features the text "Maison fondée en 1851," "Parapluie-Revel Lyon (France)," and the trademark "Veritas".
Print measures 32x24 in frame it measures 39x31
