Lovely framed art prints of "The Noble Tips" Irish Fox Hunt by F.C. (Francis Calcraft) Turner, Miniature Framed Art Prints in Cherry Burl Frames with Gold Gilded Edges. Enhance your home with this elegant set of framed art pieces. The rich red-brown and gold frames add a touch of sophistication to any room. Perfect for art lovers and collectors. These are prints of landscape paintings by Francis Calcraft Turner, an early 19th-century painter who died in 1846.
They feature wealthy sportsmen on horseback, wearing traditional Fox Hunt attire -
black top hats with red coats and white pants, with their hunting dogs - all in hot pursuit.
Each frame measures approximately 6 1/2" long by 5 3/4" tall, x 1" wide. The prints measure about 3 1/4" by 2 3/8".
The original engravings were titled in reference to The Marquis of Waterford, Henry de La Poer Beresford, and his noble
companions, The Noble Tips, otherwise known as the Tipperary Boys.
Print #1 - With the white horse in the foreground - The Noble Tips - Tipperary Glory - The Marquis at Home
Print #2 - With a brown horse and dogs in the foreground - The Noble Tips - Tipperary Melody - The Marquis at Home
