*Please read description & view all pictures* INTERESTING FINDINGS: The goblin plushes are rare & highly collectible. The keepsake plush was one of several inspired by characters in the book GOBLINS! by Brian Froud & Ari Berk. It was fabricated by dollmaker Wendy Froud. The remarkably unusual goblin was sold by FAO Schwarz before the business was purchased by Toys R Us. It can no longer be found in any stores. This extremely rare plush toy is a collaboration between the famed illustrator Brian Froud & FAO Schwarz in 2007. The Goblins plush series, are based on Froud's book Goblins! The series was a limited run. Now, the plushes are a rare find. This particular specimen is modeled after a goblin named Squeeb. BACKGROUND INFO: Froud was also the conceptual designer for Henson's feature film, Labyrinth, released in 1986, as well as for the pilot episode of Henson's television series The Storyteller, first aired in 1987. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: •Sitting down the plush is roughly 15” tall from its bottom to the top of its horn. •From arm to arm the goblin is about 18” wide. ADDITIONAL INFO: This plush was kept on display on a shelf over the course of the 18 years that we’ve owned it. Its original price tags were removed; yet, the FAO SCHWARZ tag sewn onto the plush is in great condition & fully in tact (pictured). Its tail can be shaped into different positions. It is in good preowned condition. There are no holes or stains. It comes from a clean, smoke free environment.
