FAKE LIPSTICK? 4 MAC tests

4 quick ways to tell if a MAC lipstick is counterfeit 1) Authentic MAC uses a TRANSLUCENT WHITE plastic ring liner in the case (see last lipstick photo). If the ring is OPAQUE WHITE plastic (photo 1), it's COUNTERFEIT. 2) Authentic MAC lipsticks are smooth. If the product has lines & filling defects (lipstick photo 2), it is COUNTERFEIT. 3) Authentic MAC lipsticks don't have a logo on the bottom shade sticker. If "MAC" is printed on the sticker on the bottom of the box or lipstick, it is COUNTERFEIT. 4) All authentic MAC boxes have a very expensive scratch-resistant coating. A fingernail lightly scratched across an authentic MAC box will NOT show a scratch. Please be careful when purchasing online from MAC resellers. Many of us sell only genuine products, but there are thousands of fakes made in contaminated labs around the world.
