I’m leaving these up as a cautionary tale. These are FAKE jeans. Another posher reached out with questions and after I got to looking I realized they’re counterfeits. I wouldn’t have known so I’m guessing there are others who wouldn’t either. 😭 do lots of research friends! COH mid-rise flare in a medium wash with whiskering and pretty stitching on back pockets! There is a small thread pull on the back of one leg but otherwise in excellent used condition. Size 28. Measurements are approximate.

a_lovely_mess Hi Mary...sorry to bother you with this; could I please get a photo of the zipper pull and any other detail you think shows the "authenticity" of these, like it looks like there might be a security strip at the bottom of the size label? CoH was really hard hit with counterfeits; they even showed up at Nordstrom.

flipping_frocks @sheilashedd oh my gosh I had no idea this was an issue with coh!! I just took a deep dive into the internets trying to figure out how to authenticate coh Jeans and I’m pretty sure these are fake. I would never have known. Thank you so much for asking that question, I’m going to take the listing down. How frustrating!! So glad I didn’t sell someone fake jeans 😭😭

flipping_frocks @sheilashedd 🤦🏻‍♀️😭 biggest clues are that they’re only 32” long and coh doesn’t make a shorter inseam like that and the rivets are unmarked on the back (vs having an h or the word Cobax). The “security strip” is also just some silver thread, not micro stitching. They’re pretty good fakes other than those things. 😒🙄 really sorry about that and so glad you asked!

a_lovely_mess @maryladage crazy. They're getting so good...It's such a risk, getting them online...bad enough that I'm hard to fit, lol. But when I saw a video of this guy comparing what he'd just bought at Macys to a pair he got from True Religion in NYC, it made me really want to dive in. Thank you so much <3

flipping_frocks @sheilashedd they are actually decently soft! They’re not Mother soft but they’re not scratchy or uncomfortable. Which makes it worse...I’m so sorry!! They really were cute! 😭😭 I’m kind of surprised how well they fit actually. They’re too short for me though so I may cut them off to make shorts next summer.
