Made by F.C. Linde in the 1885 catalog. Highly decorated bronze doorknob set. Eastlake style with a filled background and floral motifs in the middle. The decoration is repeated on the backside of the knob

F.C. Linde & Co. was a small hardware manufacturing company based out of Creskill, New Jersey. They did not produce their own catalogues, but their products can be found in Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. catalogues in the 1890s. This was their main distributor. Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. is still in operation under the name True Value. Barrows purchased F. C. Linde & Co. in 1890.
