These shorts are very lightweight and thin. They do have two front pockets. Measurements are across the waist 14 inches top to bottom is about 25 1/2 inches the inseam is about 14 1/2 inches. On the inside of the waistband they do look like they have a little snag but on the outside you cannot see anything.
