Extra Large Multiple Layer Dichroic Glass Jewelry, Fused Glass Jewelry, Vibrant

This colorful pendant has incredible depth and texture. Made with multiple layers of patterned dichroic glass. In vibrant shades of orange, teal and blue. The glass measures 48mm x 36mm. Total length with bail just over 2.25 in. Finished with an extra large textured silver-plated bail and hung on 3 strands of 2mm black satin cord with matching hook and eye clasp. Please specify desired length of cord in notes. This piece was entirely hand crafted by me in my home studio! The glass cabochons are made by cutting and carefully layering dichroic glass bits. The piece is then placed in a kiln and fired The piece is cooled more dichroic is added and the piece is re-fired. Most pieces are fired multiple times for incredible depth and color play (unless a special technique or otherwise described ). When I’m happy with the piece it is then shaped with lapidary equipment, placed back in the kiln to polish the edge and anneal the piece for extra strength. Signed Patricia L Johnson.
