For that true vintage charm, this Express Tricot beaded sweater, Made during the 1960's in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong, makes a stylish statement. Black, waist length, it is accented with 3-dimensional scattered white faux pearls. The exterior is a mix of 70% lambswool, 20% angora and 10% nylon. It is fully lined with a solid black lining. There are front buttons from the round neckline to the waist, so you can wear this buttoned or open front. Both versions are shown in these photos. It offers so much chic style in one versatile garment.
The white faux pearl accents are on the front and sleeves, but for comfort when you are sitting, the back side is solid.
During my many years of collecting and wearing vintage, I have had many terrific beaded sweaters, however this is the first with beautiful white faux pearls. The original owner had 2 of these, 1 Large and 1 Medium. The other is in another listing.
The "Made in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong" label proves this is a mid 20th century piece when Hong Kong was a part of the United Kingdom.
