DESCRIPTION
Original “Explore Florida’s Space Coast” tourism brochure, circa 1970–71, promoting Titusville, Cocoa Beach, and Melbourne—neighbor to the brand-new Walt Disney World. Features stunning mid-century pop art with beach scenes, a rocket launch, classic cars, and a bright bikini surfer cover. Folds open to reveal a detailed Brevard County map packed with attractions and historic points of interest from the Apollo era.
Condition:
Exceptionally clean, flat, and bright for its age. Light edge wear and a few faint finger bends from handling, but overall superb color and sharpness. No tears, stains, or writing. All panels and the vivid cover art are fully intact.
Why buy:
Vintage Florida brochures from the dawn of the Space Age are in high demand, especially with NASA, Disney, and Cocoa Beach crossover appeal. I Dream of Jeannie (set in Cocoa Beach) made this area a household name, adding to the nostalgic value! Fabulous display piece or collectible for fans of Apollo history, surf culture, or mid-century travel.
Professional packaging always, since 2003.
