Evil Eye Aquamarine Amulet Pendant Artisan Mixed Media & Silver Bezel Leather

This Evil Eye Amulet is expertly artisan crafted with mixed media materials, including clay, Swarovski Crystal and encased with a silver-blend, boho-metalwork. Its protective nature is enhanced by the addition of a rhinestone circle. 

 I use a Boho-Style Metalwork soldering technique to secure and encase my pieces. The material is made to stay forever shiny but can lose some of its sheen. It may be gently polished with a steel wool to replenish the sheen. *The material is an Alloy: 96% Tin / 4% Silver.   I design all my pieces by using mixed media art and incorporating mainly vintage and antique pieces to create something new from something old, hence, Disegno Antiguo Nuevo. The belief in the evil eye dates back almost 3.000 years to ancient Greece and Rome. It is one of the strongest symbolic images in the world.
Wearing an evil eye as an amulet is believed to provide protection against evil forces.
