Very cool. See my photos. Art Alexakis, charismatic frontman of rock band Everclear, has announced an intimate, collaborative acoustic tour for May-June 2019. Art has invited 3 of his friends to join him on stage each night: artists Chris Collingwood (Fountains of Wayne), Max Collins (Eve 6) and John Wozniak (Marcy Playground). The Songs & Stories tour will deliver a one-of-a kind opportunity for each to perform stripped down versions of their band’s hits & new songs & the stories behind all of them. Alexakis shares: “I have been a huge fan of each of these artists for so long. Getting to showcase their singing/songwriting abilities is going to be so special for all of us. These shows will deliver a rocknroll energy,but in a way our fans have never experienced. Art Alexakis donated $1 per ticket Sold to Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, an organization that provides financial assistance to career musicians, venue workers, production staff, crew members, and their families suffering from injury, illness or disability. Funds raised from the tour will pay for medical procedures, doctor visits, prescriptions, and vital living expenses.
