velquita @nicolewebb730 the patina on the bracelet was extremely dark when I got it, so I don't know what caused it. The spot that you see was already there but it improved quite nicely as did the rest of the bracelet when I had it cleaned professionally at the jewelers. It was later evaluated by a friend who owns a coin/gold/silver business and who is also familiar with the source of the bracelet. he had seen and tested it previously & confirmed it was not gold but likely gold plating over brass.
