Excellent condition. 2.5 inches long. Die cast metal.
In 1917, Henry Ford entered the tractor market using the mass-production assembly line techniques he had developed in the car industry. His tractors were sold under the Fordson marque, which was distinct from the Ford Motor Company. The tractors sold well due to their low price, and thousands were bought by the British government during World War I.
In 1928, Ford transferred all Tractor production to Cork, Ireland, and later, production was moved to the modern Ford factory at Dagenham, England, in 1933. Now known as the Fordson N, this became one of Britains best-selling tractors and remained in production until 1945.
