There are some scuffs and scratches on the surface of the globe that are noticeable close up but can’t be seen when viewing it on a shelf or from farther away (please see photos), as well as some horizontal lines in the glass (see photo 12). I have not tested the batteries to see how it plays. For those reasons, it is being sold as is.
