kmosskirlin @mrswho702 Beautiful dog I have a lot of friends who hate them , my little Shih Tzu had 1 as a friend & he would lay on his back to let him smell & like him , then my good friend calls me & says her sweet fur baby 5-6 lb female Shih Tzu just got ripped in 2 & died bec a pit tore her apart on a walk , I told her it sad but it's the owners fault the way they train them they killed the pit that looked like ur dog 🐶 it's a shame some peo shouldn't own these dogs ya know.

mrswho702 @kmosskirlin I am so sorry for your friends loss , it could have been any breed that did that , you are right it is the owner and how they are raised . , and yes I think people should get educated on the breed , they aren't born that way , it is how they are socialized and treated .

kmosskirlin @mrswho702 l know I had 2 try & convince her that it's not the breed any large dog could have done that , she for now dislikes the breed & said something so sad ,that they should get rid of the breed & she was glad they put the pit down, peo need 2 be educated, & I told her that once she stops grieving 2 maybe volunteer with somewhere that has the breed , I hope she thinks about it .

mrswho702 @kmosskirlin I was bitten by a small dog and took a piece if my ankle , no joke hurt like all get out , but I don't hate the small breed that did it , that is sad she feels that way but I do understand her heart break and feelings . I love my dogs they are rescues and I wouldn't give them up for anything . They are family

reneenicole7988 Beautiful! I love pits 💕💜 And yes the way they act depends on the way they are raised. I treated mine like she was a human baby and she grew up to be a perfect little lady! Her type of breed was Boudreaux and Carver (I'm from Louisiana). She was a brindle. Miss my baby girl sooo much! She died of old age 😢

mrswho702 @snowqueen84 thank you , I appreciate your comments, no I do not breed , my female is a rescue from a backyard breeder she was so emaciated when I got her the vet was surprised she survived and look at her now my male with a big head he's a rescue from the pound when I got him his ears are already chopped up like that they were bleeding , he is now my service dog

snowqueen84 @mrswho702 that's amazing 😉 so good to hear there rescues there's never enough good people to take animals in need I'm pretty sure the main reason I'm divorced is because I spent more time rescuing than I did with my husband lmao dogs are better anyway what state do you live in? If u don't mind me asking I'm in Massachusetts now but I lived in Arkansas for the last ten years

snowqueen84 @mrswho702 the laws and overpopulation in Arkansas is disgusting no one Spatz or neuters I lived right over the city line and I've had boxes of puppies and strays by the dozen dumped in my yard of course I feed every one of them I was going thru 2 50 pound bags a week thank god I found them all homes before I moved back home in Massachusetts u never see strays anywhere the laws are super strict here and it's for the best

mrswho702 @snowqueen84 funnynrhing is , when I went to the found to find a dog that could be trained to be my service dog , the last thing I thought of was a pit , Doberman, Rottweiler , Mastiff you know a big dog to lift my body weight but there he was as cute as can be so I took him home and the best dog ever , the female was an accident .. lol I happened across her and reported the backyard needed , she was a throw away .. he was just going to let her die .

snowqueen84 @mrswho702 girl that's awesome god doesn't make mistakes you needed them just like they needed you 💕 I actually got arrested one time for trespassing the man that lived in the house had been murdered and he had a mini pintcher someone had tied to a foot long chain with no shade food or water in 110 degree weather so I jumped the fence and cut her chain and she was the sweetest pup ever literally makes me sick how people treat animals
