Empty Vintage Cork Top Capudine Amber Glass Apothecary Bottle, Pre-Owned

This is an empty vintage amber glass apothecary or medicine bottle with the word Capudine embossed on it. Capudine was invented around 1895 by Henry T. Hicks in Raleigh, NC and was advertised to relieve pain and fever. It became nationally popular and production continued into the 1960s. Maker: Capudine Chemical Company Place of Origin: Raleigh, NC Time Period: 1895 – 1960s This bottle is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. Cork is in good condition but stuck in bottle from years of no use.
