Emile Henry Ruffled Pie Dish, French ceramic bakeware.  * Burgundian clay (HR Ceramic) in * Marcigny, France * Evenly absorbs, distributes, and retains heat evenly for uniform baking  Highly resistant to thermal and mechanical shock, allowing it to go from the freezer or refrigerator directly to a hot oven.  It is safe for use in the oven and broiler up to 500F. Hand glazed and scratch-resistant. Two manufacturing flaws and a small mark to exterior; some wear to unglazed areas on bottom. Cooking surface is in exceptional, like new condition.
