This dress has been worn once for the wedding, really nice fit and enjoyed it. Did some dancing but no notable stains, the velvet must do very well to hide them. There is a loose string at the hem, but you will probably have to get it shortened. I am 5’11” and have never had to get a dress altered for being too long, and was mortified by how much extra fabric there was haha I can send photos if need be as well! Happy shopping!
