Embroidered Mexican Traditional Dress - Large

Found this beautiful tradition dress - I am assuming Mexican but if someone knows exactly what kind of dress this is, please comment below & I will update the title. There is only one tag labeled G which I’m assuming is for Grande (Large) but please note the measurements in the photos. I am just not wearing this & it needs a new home. I do not know what the material is…possibly cotton. It has ties around the waist. There are a few places/marks/unthreading on the embroidered flowers but not really noticeable when wearing.
