This is an antique Embosa Ware vase made by Cyples Old Pottery in England during the 1920s. It is an original Art Deco piece standing at 10 inches tall. The vase is multicolored and made of ceramic in an Embosa Ware style. It is signed by the maker and showcases the production technique of Embosa Ware, reflecting a unique production style from that time period.
Please note drilled small hole near bottom as shown in last picture.
History
The Cyples family began potting in the second half of the 18th century.
Joseph Cyples made general earthenware and Egyptian black in 1787.
Mary Cyples ran the factory after Joseph's death.
Jesse Cyples ran the factory after Mary's death.
Lydia Cyples, Jesse's widow, ran the factory after his death.
Richard and William Cyples, Lydia's sons, helped run the factory.
Thomas Barlow succeeded the Cyples family in 1849.

The Cyples family made china and Egyptian black.
The Cyples family also produced Embosa Ware, which was popular during the Art Deco period (1920s–1930s). Embosa Ware featured geometric patterns and natural motifs.
