This is a reproduction Ellis Island Museum food concessioner dinner plate.  The original plates were used by the food concessionaire Harry Balfe (H.B.) at Ellis Island from 1905 to 1908.  The plate features a center view of the Ellis Island immigration station that opened in 1900.  The reproduction plate measures approximately 9 3/4" in diameter.  Has the metal holder for hanging included. immigration, new jersey, new york, collectable, immigrants, statue of liberty, family history
