About the Case Artistry
This Elgin’s case is a miniature work of art in gold. The multi-color gold inlays depict flowers, birds, and a decorative basket — a level of detail that elevates this piece from a mere timekeeper to a true jewel of craftsmanship. The shield and crown motif on the reverse suggests it may have been intended as a presentation or special occasion watch.
