I purchased this cocktail suit in the mid 1990’s at a Nordstrom’s fashion show at my father’s estate Esca Bay in West Central Fly. I wore it once to Katherine Harris’s second wedding. She had 1200 guests. You may remember her because she was the Secretary of State in Florida during the Hanging Chad controversy regarding the outcome of the 2000 presidential election between George HW Bush and Al Gore. I knew her well back then. While the Hanging Chad Controversy raged I was in Indonesia Surfing. Late one afternoon CNN was reporting on the US Presidential Election and I spoke up and said Katherine Harris is a friend of mine. I was NOT believed. Anyhow, it’s a spectator cocktail suit. I am 5’3” 105 lbs petite and the suit has been professionally altered to fit. I haven’t worn it in 25 years.
