Elegant Dansk Crystal Cut Contemporary Decorative Lidded Compote 1990's Lovely Design with Thick cut Swirls creating a 3 dimensionally look and a crown button for the Tip of the Lid. Beautiful and in Great Condition with no chips or cracks. Approx: 7"T x 6" at the widest point, 5 1/2" at the opening & 2 1/2" at the base weighing around 5 pounds. A Bit of History: Dansk is an American company known for its Scandinavian-inspired designs, which manufactured some of its full lead crystal pieces in Poland. Dansk does not have a Polish origin, but rather outsourced some of its manufacturing to Polish glassworks. Dansk crystal has been produced in Poland since at least the late 20th century, and vintage items from the 1990s are especially noted for being Polish-made. The company's production moved around the globe over time, and Poland became one of many international manufacturing locations.
