Elegant Black and Gold Japanese Table Runner 13 feet Long

I bought this runner in Japan I don’t know what they use it for bring that is so long but I bought it to use as a table runner. It is approximately 13 feet long, the back is lined in cotton material all black. It has a beautiful embroidered and patch design, at one end there is an all black and no pattern, you see in the photo. Item is in excellent shape no stains rips or smell.
