Elder Scrolls Oblivion IV: Shivering Isles Expansion Pack (PC, 2007)

The sprawling fantasy world of Bethesda's Oblivion expands further, with the Knights of Nine add-on package. Including all previously available downloadable content -- as well as new dungeons and characters -- the add-on brings more adventures and rewards to the open-ended RPG, including the chance for players to set up home bases in their own Wizard's Towers, Thieves' Dens, or Vile Lairs (depending on their favored profession). Barding becomes available, for better-protected mounts, and empowering new magical artifacts wait at the end of new quests. As with most PC expansion packs, a full installation of the main game is required for play. The world of Elder Scrolls expands once again with the release of Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles. Focusing on the realm of Sheogorath, players may use an existing character or create a new identity and then explore the environments of the Shivering Isles. There are two sides to the adventure, and gamers may work their way through the dungeons found in the land of Mania and Dementia as they take on such creatures as Flesh Atronachs, Shambles, and Grummites. There are several additional items, ingredients, and spells to collect that are new to the Elder Scrolls universe, and now gamers may hire Crucible and Bliss craftsmen to create customized weapons and armor.
