Stone scarabs were multifunctional objects in ancient Egypt. They were commonly used as amulets, believed to offer protection and good luck to the wearer. They could also be inscribed and used as personal seals. Scarabs also served as decorative elements in jewelry and furniture. Some types, like the Heart Scarab, became vital in the mummification process.
