Egyptian Cairo Ware Brass Vase With Silver and Copper Inlay

Here is a very beautiful Cairoware brass vase skillfully inlaid with silver and copper over brass It is an early piece from the late 19th to the turn of the 20th century Mameluke Revival style, but the decoration shows figures and patterns found on the Ancient Egypt artifacts. Most likely this piece was made to satisfy the enormous interest towards the Ancient Egyptian culture during the late 1800's and early 1900's
