They were an American importing company that had its offices on Madison Avenue in NYC. Beginning in 1945, after WWII, the company imported a variety of china-ware made in Japan. Most of the items fell into the gift category of figurines, tableware, jars & vases. This item’s paint does show some wear (see photos). There are no chips.
